Welcome to the SUNSET dena-RES-Angola Project
At the Luanda International School, Luanda and the Sambo Mission station, Huambo
In December 2014, SUNSET has finished a new dena-RES-Project at the Luanda International School (LIS), Luanda and at the Mission Station in Sambo, Huambo. A grid-connected PV-plant of 31,68 kWp was installed at the LIS in Luanda. The Mission Station in Sambo, Huambo presents two 12,56 kWp – Off-Grid hybrid systems including high performance batteries for solar power supply, lighting and cooling, a 1 kW – wind generator system for power supply, a solar peep well pumping system for water supply and a solar thermal system to provide warm water equipped for various renewable energy technologies.
To provide detailed information about renewable energy technologies, SUNSET will offer numerous seminars and training for the project in Luanda and Sambo, Huambo.
With an official inauguration on the 10.12.2014, who participated in the high-ranking guests from politics and industry, the PV-plant was inaugurated at the Luanda International School in Luanda.
The dena-RES-Angola Project is part of the worldwide dena Reneable Energy Solutions Programme coordinates by Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) – The German Energy Agency and co-financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) within the initiative ‘Renewables – Made in Germany’.
After Costa Rica, Ecuador, Jakarta, Cairo, Namibia, Shanghai and Singapore as part of the dena-Solar Roofs Programme, Angola is the next project, SUNSET energy GmbH will implement successfully under the new dena-RES program of the German Energy Agency (dena).
